Silly Ideas

Changing the clocks twice a year is (and always has been) a 100% silly idea.

In a way we should welcome this idea on our website, but it does cause problems:-

• More accidents happen when the clocks change
• The folk who maintain the GPS system hate it (as does everyone else)
• Is the shortest day on the winter solstice or when the clocks move forward?
• Got a computer backup scheduled for 1am or 2am. Good luck with that.
• The clocks change on different days (and at different times) in the USA and Europe!
• When the clocks go back it's 1:30am twice (an hour apart)!

One simple change stops this nonsense.

It's simple. Just stop doing it!

The majority of the world doesn't do it. Nobody should do it.
